The players have been fortunate in obtaining over £5000 in grant funding for a new presidium mobile archway and curtains, completing Part One of a project started in 2008. Part Two was in position for final rehearsals in September 2009.

The funds were used for purchasing a portable Trilite presidium framework and a red velvet curtain.
The project links the Appledore Maritime Players with the Appledore Community and Sports Association in partnership and looks for other partnerships.

The Players seek other funding from another National body for new fixed staging which is still pending. £1,500 will complete these works, we're waiting, but have several other irons in the fire.
